POSITION TITLE:   LTS Social Studies Teacher- Upper Perkiomen High School 

REPORTS TO:    Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Long Term Sub (10/22/24-4/1/25)

Candidate will be hired as a Long Term Sub through ESS at $150.00/day (days 1-20)- $185.00/day (days 20+)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• PDE Teaching Certification
• Social Studies Certification- Secondary 7-12 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide Social Studies instruction to students
• Communicate with parents about students' progress
• Provides an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals
• Plan, develop, write, and implement curriculum and educational programs in accordance with educational/treatment goals and students' abilities
• Manage student behavior to encourage best possible student educational experience
• Evaluate students' academic growth, keep appropriate records and prepare progress reports.

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
