POSITION TITLE: School Psychologist
REPORTS TO: School Principal/ Director of Special Education
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 190 Contracted Days
QUALIFICATIONS:
- PDE School Psychologist Certification
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Chair evaluation and reevaluations, grades K-12
- Chair IEP Team Meetings for initial evaluations, grades K-12
- Assess students' skills through psychometric assessment, observation, teacher and parent input, etc.
- Consult with appropriate school district and community professionals regarding referred students
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, IEP team meetings for reevaluations, instructional support team meetings or student assistance team meeting
- Provide necessary support for special education teachers regarding behavioral IEP goals and objectives
- Provide necessary support for general education staff
- Provide necessary training and/or interpretation regarding issues and trends in school psychological services
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor of Pupil Services

- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
- PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
