POSITION TITLE:   LTS- Middle School Math Teacher

 

REPORTS TO:         Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Long Term Sub beginning approximately November 2024 for up to six months.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• PDE Middle Level and/or Secondary Math Teaching Certification

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide Math instruction to Middle School students
• Communicates with parents about students' progress
• Provides an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals
• Plans, develops, writes, and implements curriculum and educational programs in accordance with educational/treatment goals and students' abilities.
• Manages student behavior to encourage best possible student educational experience
• Evaluates student's academic growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports

PREEMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
